Cody’s Beer of the Week (2/29/2012) Dry Dock Tripel 8.75% A.B.V. Stout month would be over today if it wasn’t a leap year, but it’s not, and I couldn’t care less because my palate needs a break. Enter Dry Dock, and their wonderful tripel. This lovely Belgian style ale pours a glassy gold with the most elegant lacing of microscopic pearly white bubbles. The nose is an amazing combination of mango, cardamom, clove and eucalyptus. The mouth feel is delicate and refreshing, with a decent amount of carbonation and a finish that is sweet and satisfying. Is summer here yet? In my mouth, yes, yes it is. Cheers!Via Flickr: Dry Dock won the “Small Brewing Company and Small Brewing Company Brewer of the Year” award at the 2009 Great American Beer Festival.
